Between 1997 and 2001, an extraterrestrial group calling themselves
the Verdants planned an elaborate contact mission to our world. This
included the manifestation of a city in the American Southwest which
would become a diplomatic and cultural center and in which humans and
Verdants might exchange knowledge and get to know one another.
This mission was aborted in 2001 when the Verdants decided our species
was still too belligerent to be welcomed into the galactic community.
The fun was in designing a city in which
the buildings can be supported by anti-gravity devices. The device hanging
in the sky to the left is an Instructional Analog Model developed by
beings from the planet Iarga who told Dutch contactee Stefan Denaerde
that "(these) mechanical instructional models are the visual representations
of the principle of the cosmic unified field theory." (see "UFO Contact
from Planet IARGA by Stefan Denaerde and Lt. Col. Wendelle C. Stevens,
pp. 350-55)
