Entheogens have always been a path to the Divine experience. The very word, derived from the same root as ‘enthusiasm’ and coined by the great mycologist Gordon Wasson, means ‘that which draws the God out’.
In denying the valid use of this initiatory path, and by demonizing it, we have collectively deprived ourselves of the inner understandings that could lead us to greater maturity and compassion as a culture.
