Le Manio: Carnac

In the northwest corner of France there is an odd concentration of massive standing stones. Dolmen that are four times the height of a man stand in great avenues, placed there by prehistory for unknown reasons.

Le Manio is by far the largest of these megalithic dolmens and stands alone in its own grove of trees, sculpted by erosion and the touch of generations of reverent hands.
