When my friend and collaborator, the videographer Flame Schon, required hip-replacement surgey, I wanted to pay attention to the psychic and spiritual flow of energies involved in such a physically intrusive operation. Whether or not drawing good, strong, energy down to visually surround the bone mass actually has an objective effect on the healing is hard to quantify. Perhaps not. But what it does give me is a way of being unobtrusively involved with the transformative healing process of a friend.
