Cherubim

Since I had already focussed on doing graphix of a 'Supernaphim' and a 'Meditating Angel' and had derived such a lot of personal satisfaction and understanding from placing myself in their hands, I wanted to apply the same process to the angelic Order of Cherubim. I found them very accessible, strong and positive presences, not at all the plump, winged infants of the Italian Renaissance, and yet with a sweetness which makes that portrayal more understandable.
